What embroidery services do you offer?
We provide custom embroidery for hats, apparel, uniforms, bags, towels, and other fabric items. Designs can include logos, names, monograms, and custom artwork.
Do you offer custom logo embroidery for businesses?
Yes. We specialize in embroidering company logos on hats, polos, jackets, uniforms, and promotional apparel for businesses and organizations.
What types of items can be embroidered?
Common items include hats, hoodies, polos, jackets, scrubs, tote bags, towels, aprons, and other fabric goods.
Do you embroider just names or initials?
Yes. Simple initials, names, and monograms are very common requests and are among the most affordable embroidery options.
Where can embroidery be placed on an item?
It is item dependent. Common placement areas include hat fronts, shirt chests, sleeves, towel corners, and tote bag panels. We can help recommend the best placement for your design.
What thread colors are available?
We offer a large range of professional embroidery thread colors to closely match your logo or design. If we do not carry a specialty color or thread style in the workshop, we can source it quickly.
Is embroidery durable? Can I wash and dry it?
Yes. Embroidery is extremely durable and holds up very well through washing and everyday wear.
What is digitizing?
Digitizing is the process of converting artwork into stitch instructions that an embroidery machine can read. This determines stitch type, direction, and density for the final embroidered design.
Can you embroider hats with a company logo?
Yes. Custom hat embroidery is one of our most requested services. We can embroider logos, names, or custom designs on a wide variety of hat styles.
Do you offer embroidery for uniforms or work apparel?
Yes. We regularly embroider uniforms, work shirts, jackets, and other professional apparel.
Can you embroider monograms or personal gifts?
Yes. We offer embroidery for monograms, initials, names, and custom personal designs on a variety of items.
Can I bring my own items for embroidery?
Yes. Customer-supplied items are welcome. Please note that embroidery involves needles and tension, so while we take great care, we cannot guarantee against damage to customer-supplied garments.
Can you provide the items for embroidery?
Yes. We can source hats, apparel, towels, tote bags, and other items for your order. The cost of the item will be added to the embroidery service.
Are all customer-supplied items suitable for embroidery?
Most garments and fabric items work well with embroidery, but some materials may not be ideal for stitching. Very thin fabrics, delicate materials, or items with unusual construction may not support embroidery properly. If you are unsure about an item, we are happy to review it before beginning production.
What happens if a customer-supplied item is damaged during embroidery?
We take great care with all items, but embroidery involves needles, tension, and machine movement. Because we cannot control the quality or condition of customer-supplied items, Old Line Stitch cannot guarantee against damage to those items during the embroidery process.
What file formats do you need for logos?
Vector files work best. Preferred formats include AI, EPS, SVG, or high-resolution PNG files. If you do not have a production-ready file, we can help prepare your design for embroidery.
Can I see a proof before production?
Yes. For custom logos or new designs, we provide a digital proof so you can approve the design before embroidery begins.
How long does an order take?
Most orders are completed within 5–10 business days after artwork approval and item availability. Turnaround time may vary depending on order size and current production schedule.
Do you ship orders?
Yes. Orders can be shipped anywhere in the United States.
How much does embroidery cost?
Embroidery pricing varies based on the size and complexity of the design. Simple initials or small text cost less, while larger logos or detailed designs cost more. Our website pricing estimator can provide an approximate quote.
Is there a minimum order?
We do not require a strict minimum order. However, larger orders may qualify for discounted pricing.
Do you offer bulk discounts?
Yes. Larger embroidery orders may qualify for discounted pricing depending on the quantity ordered.
Do you charge a digitizing fee?
Yes. Most logos must be converted into a special embroidery format before stitching. This process is called digitizing and requires a one-time setup fee depending on the complexity of the design. Once digitized, the file can typically be reused for future orders.
Do you offer bulk embroidery for businesses or teams?
Yes. Bulk embroidery orders for businesses, teams, and organizations are welcome and may qualify for quantity discounts.
How do I pay for my embroidery order?

You can review the invoice and pay online using the provided payment options. Orders are scheduled for production once payment is received.

Invoices sent through QuickBooks can be paid securely online using major credit cards or ACH bank transfer. All payments are processed through QuickBooks’ secure payment system.

Review the order details and total amount due, select your preferred payment method, and submit payment securely online. After payment is received, your order will be scheduled for production.
When is payment required?
Payment is required before production begins unless otherwise agreed upon for established business clients. Once payment is received, your order will be scheduled for production.
Do you offer invoicing for business clients?
Yes. Businesses and organizations will receive a detailed invoice through QuickBooks that includes item descriptions, quantities, and pricing. These invoices can easily be saved for accounting or expense records.
